Ok, this one threw me off. Tommy on vox for another band besides Kamelot, so was wondering if he exited the band. I then see that SW was Tommy's previous band (had no idea) and this is maybe that crew getting back together for new material.
I like it alot, amazing music and and super catchy tune, diff from Kam, which is cool. Need to explore this album a bit more as it drops. Hope to see new Kamelot soon too!

This looks killer. Some of the best concert DVD's I have are the ones that were done in the studio as live streams (Epica and Gamma Ray a examples), so looking forward to this Anthrax. I did not see this one when it aired so will be a new venture, but vid example is cool, so should be a nice dvd, cd set :hbang1:

I was late getting this one in the collection, but bumped across the cd on ebay and got it for 4.99 and some shipping (avg price is 14 and up, so deal of the day!)
Escellent release. Not all of it is warp speed, there is some super melodic mid-temps on here. This is my fave cut from the album, the chorus is just pure harmony and melody, well tempo-ed and produced.
Vid is fun too, but with a slight serious theme.

> DragonForce Heart Demolition is from our latest album Extreme Power Metal! Inspired by movies and videos games from the 80's, the video also pays a special homage to the Sega Genesis / Megadrive, one of Herman Li's favorite game console from the late 80's, early 90's.

Video is nutty for sure. The tune was much better than what we got on the last album. I was really disappointed with Dystopia, so this seems more in line with Rust era sound. so we'll see what we get going forward.

Mat dies it all, write, play, produce, wow. His many projects are always high level (Sinner, Primal Fear, Kiske-Somerville, etc). know he had some health issues lately but seems to be recovering well.

I discovered Scarlet Records when I discovered Frozen Crown. FC is incredible, has become one of my top 5 fave bands.
I mention this because if you follow Scarlet, there is some bands that come across there that are...well odd. It may be something driven by the location of the label (Italy), but some is even to cheesy for me, or just really weird.
But on occasion, a gem pops up and this is one of them. Sole Syndicate. First I have head of them so know zero about their history (new band, been around, etc), but wow, this cut has it all, killer riffs, leads, cool vox and deep lyrics. Check it out!

> 'Brave Enough' is the second single taken from the new Sole Syndicate album ‘Into the Flames’, set to be released on June 17th.

Stolen Prayer

Not finding much info on them, looks like they are based in Louisville, KY, and formed in 2020, and are mostly a cover band at this point.

I historically am not a fan of this band, most of what I know, when it comes on, I will mute or "change the channel". So I am also not very versed on their catalog besides the hits, so this new tune is either typical of their deep tracks or is a new direction.
I heard this the other day on 97Underground while streaming during my lunch walk. and thought it was a really cool tune! Very AC/DC-ish, catchy, well done indeed.
So now looking forward to what else drops from this release
