Have not had a chance to look this crew up (who they are, where from, etc) but bumped across this track on 97Underground.com (man, sure is nice to be able to hear new stuff on a reg basis somewhere...) and this is pretty freakin cool!

There is a slew of symphonic/epic bands out there, but honestly, only a few really pull it off with something that is original and awesome. This band has much potential; you can hear the Epica influence in there, but also, they use piano and real stings, so that's pretty cool. Check it out:
> September of 2021, the Symphonic Metal Band Shattered Vessels arrived on the scene with their first single “Portrait of Us”. A track that will be part of their first EP “Humans are Alive”. A melancholic composition of Symphonic Metal made up of romantic pianos, cellos and dark operatic vocals, fused with the intensity of distortion-laden guitars and piercing percussions. Mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen. An audio engineer of bands such as Epica, Fleshgod Appocalypse and Volbeat. “Portrait of us” is a song that reflects on the toxic relationships that drain our potential and distancing from them to drive our growth.

Very nice indeed, Epica influence is there, but they definitely have their own voice. Love the cello!

The band has just released the first taste of what is to come in the form of a new single, "No Man's Land", which is out now on all digital platforms. A little off-topic but some good jams non the less if you're into instrumental jazz-rock.

One of my fave, recently found, bands Frozen Crown. Another from album #3 and so far IMO, their best album as far as solid start to finish, just killer! :hbang1:

This one has a Frozen Crown connection; Federico Mondelli, songwriter/guitar master and producer is a busy man. He now has three bands, Frozen Crown (one of my faves!), Volturian (more new style metal, not really a fan of this one) and now Nocturna (vid below!).
This band has some "Ghost" allure as the band members, besides the dueling singers, have single "names" and wear masks. But most of us a pretty sure the guitarist is Federico due to the similar playing and "presence" style.
But it's all fun, the ladies, Grace Darkling and Rehn Stillnight, kick total ass (and look metal hot!). B)
Interested in hearing more from this one as singles drop and the album comes around early next year.:hbang1:
> NOCTURNA is:
> Grace Darkling - lead vocals
> Rehn Stillnight - lead vocals
> Antares - bass
> Hedon - guitar
> Deimos - drums
