I met Weird Al back in 1992 while working at a radio/music convention here in the Twin Cities. One of the nicest rock stars I have ever met. Very humble and friendly. Still have the his autographed 8 x 10 b&w headshot framed in my home office.

BTW, at the same convention, I met Joe Satriani (really really cool to meet him), Steve Puckett, David Cassidy, Rhino Bucket, Joey Allen & Erik Turner from Warrant, two dudes from Tora Tora (I forget their names), Chip Z'Nuff (what a jerk), and Thin Lizzy's Scott Gorham -- great guy and he was there promoting his new band 21 Guns; Funny that he wrecked his golf cart during the golf outing and hurt (or broke) his thumb. He was really nice & cool...but maybe that was because I was giving him drink tickets all night, ha!!!

Damn DD..that is way cool...and I have heard that about Al...Would love to have been at that convention. Sorry bout your Vikes bro...me Raiders are in the samer boat..like the say almost only counts in hores shoes and hand grenades...and sometimes dancing...
