Does whomever who keeps requesting Dream Theater all friggin day long only request DT or do they also request other songs?
I think it just seems that way because the songs drag on forever!

I agree, that's why I asked Chris to add it. Definitely one of Helloween's weakest albums but that doesn't mean it is bad.
Budgie - I Turned To Stone (6:13)
(By Request)

From: Nightflight

I do enjoy Budgie tunes! I don't know why I did not listen to these great albums years ago. Thanks to whoever uploaded them!!

You certainly like to exaggerate, don't you?

Personally, I like to start my day with a DT song, so that is my first request first thing in the morning. I usually do not request them again. Sorry you don't like them, but I don't like everything I hear on this station either. :S
Sorry but I will take a good DT song (even if it is 10+ minutes) over some of the so poorly produced NWoBHM tracks I hear. Yes some of them are great but some of them their is a bigger reason they only ever manager a 2 song ep.

I could flood the station with never made it hair bands from the 80's but they suck too.

I agree that the longer ones maybe should not get played but some are very good.

We dont all have to like everything that is played. Just sit back and maybe every now and then you'll hear something that makes you want to find out more because that's not what you thought they sounded like.
Ok, I've been watching this topic all morning and figured I'd throw my one cent in (used to have two cents, but obama took half of everything).

I'm not a huge fan of Dream Theater, alot of their stuff strikes me as self-indulgent. That being said however, I have to agree with Dale. Much of the NWOBHM is extremely poorly produced and played. In fact, some of it is downright painful. Given that I would rather hear DT.

Gotta' agree there too. I also have scores of albums from Never Made It Hair Bands - hell, I was in one (we didn't suck, just never got the right break). But what's the point of having songs on the station just because they may fit the format if they're just plain bad?

fBf...perfect timing with the Avenger request! It played just before my Rage, which was Avenger before morphing into Rage. Nice!

Just reading this thread....

Well said, Dale!
I often wonder sometimes if I am listening to www.hardrockinnewwaveofbritishheavymetal.com :woohoo: --- I have to double check, lol!!! It seems to get played a ton lately. I'm just sayin'...
