rocko, andie and I were just discussing this. thanks for confirming it for us! I found out that the song was written by someone called Jack Lee for his band The Nerves! and yes, the Blondie version is likely the best known, which is why I thought it was originally sung by a female pop tart :D. thought it was kim wilde, but google taught me better
