I like it

That's right jerky!
> The version that is over 4 minutes is the "Don't Take No" version. The guitaring and vocals are much heavier and the production is better. Just an FYI. Cool seeing that some of the "Fight for Your Life" and "Gods Must be Crazy" tunes are there too. That must be a "Best of" that is on here.
Sort of. It's a compilation of their 2 EPs and first LP. Thanks for the tip. I'll check out that version another day.
Dangerous Toys - That Dog (3:30)
(By Request)

From: Dangerous Toys

Good Dog songs Slash - my morning Met Gen block was also Dog songs, but got played during all the probs this morning.

I noticed after looking closer that the "Fight for Your Life" album wasn't there. I was going to request "Love Action" and it wasn't there. I saw "She Was the One" and just sort of forgot they recorded two versions of that. Cool that the rest is here.

Hey Everyone,

FYI, if you like the Powermad album, you can download it for FREE from the band's website and/or MySpace page.

Download "The Madness Begins" and "Absolute Power" for FREE here:

Enjoy!

Killer stuff from a Minneapolis based band.

> I totally agree. Mind you, I think Power Metal was Pantera's best album.

While I also like "Power Metal" quite a bit, my fave Pantera album was "I Am The Night". I was more into their original vocalist Terrance Lee compared to Phil Anselmo. I liked his "High N Dry-style" vocals on that album. Maybe it's that I bought "I Am The Night" when it first came out and got hooked on them then, so I was bummed when they changed vocalists. I personally didn't like much by them following "Vulgar".
> Motley Crue - Sick Love Song (4:19)

SAM really likes this song. Now playing least 8 times since Saturday.
Highway Chile - Dreaming Of Heaven (3:58)
(By Request)

From: Keeper Of The Earth

Wow, I had no idea what this band sounded like, as the band name would make me think it was some kind of southern metal or rock.

This is pretty freakin cool. Makes me think of early style power metal. Dig it!

John O'Brien was just telling us that this album is not even released yet. Some of their earlier material is on the station, and it does not really sound like power metal at all.

Oh, so that tune I heard did throw me off (as style of music). Bummer, I liked that song and the style. I'll have to listen for some of the other material to see what we get...
Rush- Big Money (live)

Chemical Dependency
Socialized Hate

Actually the RRB - blue - is Rocking Random Request - of which Vain is not - IMO!!!

DOH!!!! you are so correct - minus 5 points for me
Savage Grace "After the Fall from Grace".

I never saw that cover before, but Savage Grace really pulled that cover concept from Lizzy Borden's "Love You to Pieces". Very similar...axe and all.

I should check the LP to see if it says who came up with the cover concept. There was a rumor that the guy with the axe was actually Gene Hoglan (Dark Angel) but I think that has been disproven.
