If you’re not down with some of the new stuff just let me know. I try to keep it somewhat relevant to the site.

My favorite album right now and certainly reminds of old Thrash is the new Dust Bolt.

I like that this forum is a bit "open". I post tunes myself that are in the hard rock/metal realm but maybe not a good fit for the site. Good place to see lots of different things from across the board.

TyR does not fit, but a HUGE fan of this band and super excited about the new release (drops March 8th)!
So far, the new Avantasia (Moonglow) has been my fave this year and looking forward to getting the new Rhapsody of Fire (only a cover by them on here, not really a fit either).

Keep um coming Chancey! :hbang1:

That’s cool Skulls. Most of us have music interest that are similar so I’m glad to hear your response. You’re definitely down with sound.

Man, the slippery slope of what fits the format. I think we drove off that Cliff a long time ago.

MÖTLEY CRÜE 'The Dirt'.
Exclusive to the film's soundtrack, MÖTLEY CRÜE recorded four new songs featuring the single, "The Dirt (Est. 1981) (feat. Machine Gun Kelly)". The three remaining songs conclude the album with the catchy "Ride With The Devil", "Crash And Burn" and the band's own spin on Madonna's "Like A Virgin".

Legendary New York hardcore/metal act LEEWAY — now known as LEEWAY NYC — has released the official music video for its "I'm Your Pusher" single.
"Listen to the lyrics and you'll hear I'm discussing the challenge of helping a loved one who is in the throes of drug addiction and how far you will go to try to enable, maintain them, and keep them off the streets," Eddie said about the track, which he co-wrote with Nastasi. "It's a problem throughout the country now and not just big-city, urban drama."

SWEET OBLIVION Feat. Former QUEENSRŸCHE Singer GEOFF TATE. Out June 14th! SWEET OBLIVION sees Tate teaming up with a stellar cast of Italian musicians led by Simone Mularoni, the mastermind of prog metal masters DGM. Musically, this album marks a return to the more melodic metal style for Tate and showcases a fine collection of songs highlighting the great talents of Mularoni and his cast of musicians.

This is more straight forward rock/metal with slight prog influences (like early Queensryche) onlike Operation Mindcrime project that was full force all in rock prog. Sounds pretty freakin cool!
