How about a thread dedicated to tracks/albums/artists from the 80's that are missing from the catalog?

I'll start out with this beauty: Acid Hooked on Metal

Savatage - "Gutter Ballet" Jon & Zac Duet! (Official Multicam) Live in Japan

Sneaux - Rock Me All Night (1986)

Mostly AOR tracks, but thought I would throw out some deep Baltimore 80's rock tracks that are freakin catchy and cool. Enjoy!

BootCamp "Fire in the Hole"

The Ravyns "Don't Leave Me this Way" (you may recall their semi-hit Raised on the Radio from the Fasttimes soundtrack).

Crack The Sky "Hot Razors in my Heart" (recall this one getting a little bit of national airplay so you may know this one...killer, killer guitar solo. Saw these guys at Painters Mill club in the early 90's and accidentally caught an acoustic set of John Palumbo, the singer and writer, at The WaterFront Bar in Fells Point in 91).

DC Star "Is it You" (these guys hailed from DC, but were always in Baltimore clubs in the early 80's. Awesome riffs here).

Not sure this is the correct place for this, but bumped across this and thought it was pretty cool. Autograph concert from 1986 at the World Famous Hammerjacks in Baltimore! I was not able to get into HJ's until 88 (turned 21) so missed this one, but sounds killer. Check it out!

Here is a full compilation album from 97 Underground in 1987 that was a limited vinyl release of local Baltimore/DC bands. I was never able to get a copy for myself and still to this day have not physically seen one. But thanks to YT we can check it out! I have a YT MP3 extractor so was able to pull down the audio and make my own cd of this and it sounds pretty darn good.
There was also a cd compilation in 1989 called "All thrashed out and no place to go". I bought that one from our local record metal shop when it dropped so still have that original cd. I was not able to find a YT stream of it, so cannot post that one here, but in the mean time check this out. You'll hear a few familiar's like Wrathchild and Mystic Force

1. WRATHCHILD - Hell's Gates 00:00
2. SYNDLY CRUNCH - Then Comes the Night 04:18
3. MYSTIC FORCE - Burn the Sky 09:00
4. SHOCK WAVE - Bad Attitude 13:15

6. CHAPELZ - Found on the Highway Dead 21:59
7. CHILD'S PLAY - Hot Seat 26:34
8. SCARLET ANGEL - Scarlet Angel 31:12

Nice pick! SB is awesome! A shame these guys did not get more exposure outside of the LA scene. Recall seeing an interview with vocalist Bernie K and he noted that the record company was not sure of how to market an all black metal band. He said "Market us as a metal band..period!". Never happened. Being on the East Coast, I did not find out about this crew until well into the late 90's while digging for deep, lost metal stuff. The reissue of the Speed of Light and Total Control on cd, if you can find them, are 40 and up a piece B)
