First off, ignore my info on the Rush tune coming up about the forum not populating new posts, either Sam woke up or Admin saw the ded and fixed it (Thanks!)

I have not seen them live since '89 on the Justice tour, down in Balto. In the past few years they have heavily concentrated on the Euro and Canadian tour markets as they noted the tours in other countries have much bigger turnouts and are easier to schedule than here in the US. The market for rock and metal here is just not as much in demand (was from a James interview a while back).
Most stops here are one off and very limited. I can only hope they make pretty big run in support of this release in the US as I think there is quite a stir among fans about this one.
As fBf noted, how much will tix be, and where will they stop?

If they get close and the tix are reasonable, I'm there this time, want to see them again as the recent shows I have seen on YT and I have on DVD look amazing! :horns:

The crew doing the new tune Live for the first time. Sounds amazing. Check out Kirk, he is usually moving around the stage but since this is a new tune, he seems to be pretty much in one place and concentrating on playing the song.

Yup. It's how they make their money since record sales are next to nill.

Their first stop is in downtown Balto. at M&T (Ravens) Stadium. Wife is not interested in standing in the field (it's a looong show with 2 openers, so I would like a seat myself, and easy access to the beer stand!) so looking to nab some tix on lower level around the fifty yard line location.
Checked TicketMaster and they only have the special pre-sale stuff going on right now, so can't come up with a price for the seats. I am guessing these will go public once the pre-sale club stuff offers are done.
I am hoping we can nab something in the 60-75 range. As much as I would love to see them again (been since '88), especially since they are doing quite a bit of the new album, much more than 75 would be quite a ways out of the budget.

Even if I thought Metallica is a big fucking sell out I’d still look past it and pay up. For whatever that worth! They still kill it.
