New Site...Thoughts?

Finally just jumped off the ledge and launched the new site. Post any issues or suggestions here. for music contributors, please reach out to test a simplified / non ftp way to add music.

Hey Chris, if it's any help, and im sure its not, but to find anything similar in the settings, Last Rose of Summer by Judas Priest.....same thing as Warrant.
I added a Chancey, Skulls and Juan Pablo Martinez to the contributor group. you should have a new link to upload music under your profile name/avatar. I haven't tested this fully, so we can all just see what works...and doesn't...
MIke - I noticed warranty just a bit ago...again. like the song, but it's the same song. Will query it out and see when it played to see if Sam is breaking the rules and going rogue.

SAM has picked the same Warrant song, Uncle Toms Cabin, - live version for the past few weeks. Same with LA Guns, Kiss My Love Goodbye - Live. Seems to get stuck on particular songs for some reason.
In regards to repeats I see all the music I request end up getting overplayed in Random. It's not just the band but getting the same songs over and over.
I've got new Megadeth and the Iommi/Jorn. Have gap fillers for days for whole catalogue

Chris, I can upload the latest Metallica and Anthrax and also have 10 cd's I got from Heaven and Hell records that are old school and new bands doing old school style tunes. Can you shoot me the upload link and I'll get them in there soon?

Added Buy links more prominently throughout the site.

As far as the rotation, there's definitely bands being played too often. My suggestion is the site only repeat an Artist every 4 hours but allow members to pick Artist every 2 hours. Let the members control the repeats, hopefully dig deeper, and actually have a chance at requesting the Artist.
We need to add in new music - any contributors that are still floating around, plesae let me know and I'll make sure you are added to the contributor group and give a link to the contributor page
Today was a very good day overall as far as rotation. It may be that a lot of new music has been added that i dont know about but we got a great mix most of the day. Lots of old stuff and bands not heard in a long while.
looking at the rotation logic in sam - one thing I haven't touched...in...years...
I really do like the new site. Tons faster and more things to do on it. Extremely well done.

Site is very nice and some great additions to it. Forums are tons faster, everything is. I still have the same issue though that i always have and sorry that i have it but its artist and song repetition. I dont know what the settings are anymore but it used to be that you would not hear the same song within 2 days of the last play of it and artists were 4 hours to hear them again? I'm getting Ozzy every 2 hours. Maiden every 2. When you listen for 9 hours a day while it work, its a bit much. A few weeks ago it was Ozzy every 2, Sabbath every 2, Dio every 2 and so on. Now we get the same few songs from Night Ranger for some reason. Whatever it is these days that is picking the songs (when no requests) is in a definite pattern and not randomizing very well. With as many artists that are on here, the range being played should be better.
