Jamming a Sunday morning and already the following have aired again between two blocks from Chancey and myself:
Demon - Don't Break The Circle
Fifth Angel - Queen of Thieves
Torpedohead - Black Rain
Mercyful Fate - Come To The Sabbath (Live)
Three out of four ain't bad as they say over on the east side, but come on, there are over 55,000 options here...

Hmm...I'm seeing some of these tracks daily, ut not multiple times per day. I need to look into it. Do you know about when they played? I see the 5th angel played at the following times (CST) in the database the last few days:
2019-06-30 09:52:29
2019-06-29 06:28:19
2019-06-28 03:04:12
2019-06-26 23:42:30
2019-06-25 20:47:09
Will have to look into it. can you email me the next time a duplicate occurs?
One other question - do both duplicate songs show up on the song history on the playing page?

Looks about right in terms of repeat frequency Chris.
No noticeable difference in how the track shows up in the queue and the recently played songs section of the Now Playing tab.

I also bumped up the time between tracks. It was set at a little over a day, so it should be a couple of days now. If Sam still insists on overplaying the same songs, we will tweak again.

Adjustments to SAM appear to have eliminated the repeats of specific tracks.
However, if you take the time to spend listening to the site you'll quickly notice that, now, the same bands are being played over and over.
Case in point: freebfree requests Helstar a couple of hours ago and
Now Playing:
Helstar
Baptized in Blood
Nosferatu

While the above remains true, SAM has now returned to repeats.
Multiple tracks today thus far with Demon's Don't Break the Circle and Prophet's Sail Away. Both of which are great tracks!
Torpedohead's crappy 1 star aired again also.

Some of the loyal listeners wonder why nobody shows up to the site anymore.
In the meantime, you have 11 minutes of BS airing that NONE OF US want to hear.
This one's been airing repeatedly for weeks.

Seems every day for the last week, if not longer - i may not have been paying attention - about this time of the day Mercyful Fate - Welcome to the Sabbath comes on. No one requests it but SAM adds it in there. Also that song by the Galactic Cowboys gets played a lot even though its rated at a 1. I would not think songs rated that low would be added by SAM at a high rate.
