> We\'ll finish this block with some QR...I never thought of this, but this is not really the \"3rd\" album, cuz there was the early albums with Rhoads and then Metal Health...Was it like the Van Halen III, just another incarnation of the band, not really an album sequence number?? Things that make you go \"hmmmm\"?

I think it was a combination of 2 things:

1. It was the 3rd album that most people were aware of.
2. It was their 3rd self-titled album (the first two albums are generally referred to as Quiet Riot I and Quiet Riot II).
Pantera - Projects In The Jungle (3:06)
(By Request)

> I know a lot of people dont consider these early releases as Pantera, but you cna hear Vinnie Paul and Dime getting better and better each album. I love it.

Damn, my sis just called, she just had to put her 4 year old doberman down.... hodgkins. I bet she spent at least 10K on him over the last 6 months trying everything. I was with them saturday night saying goodbye to my friend. Of course we had plenty of beer to help celebrate his life, was actually a pretty good time!

Holy shit - that is insane - sorry to hear that!!

And I thought I speant a lot of money in 18 months on 2 cats who ended up with diabetes. The insulin and needles were nothing, tho, compared to the vet bills!!
Since I couldn't do my "Tea-Time with Testament" because "artist has recently been played" came up, here's some "Overtime with Overkill" for Walt on his birthday. Is "Tension" your real name?!? Happy Birthday & have a good one!!!

No worries. I, too, get excited to see new music uploaded -- I just want to play it all, but only 5 every 2 hours for me. I'm like a kid in a candy store. But songs get bumped all the time when new music is added to library. As long as it gets plays...it's all goooooooood!!!

DD
> Thanks, DD! Much appreciated!

No problem, Walt. I still am having no luck requesting Testament. Maybe tomorrow. Horns Up!!!

DD

CORRECTION: I just got my Testament request in at 4 pm CST. Now, if it will only play before midnight, LOL!!!
"Iron Maiden - Remember Tomorrow (5:49) (By Request)
From: Iron Maiden

Just heard Metallica's new cover of this tune. It sounded pretty good; and so I wanted to hear the original to compare.
Dedicated by: Diamond Dave"

Anybody else heard Metallica's version??? Thoughts, comments, and/or concerns?!?

Also, I thought I'd post something in the forums since it's been sloooooooow today with those...

DD
I've read about the song on a couple of websites, but have yet to hear it. As mentioned previously, I'm having a hard time working up any enthusiasm for the new Metallica album based on the last one. I will give it a fair listen though and make my decision then.
Dedicated to Brett Favre. For the last 3 years we had to wait while he played his "am I going to retire or not game". So he finally retires and now wants to come back. Just put on your wranglers and go away Brett, youre not wanted in Wisconsin anymore.

Great pick Doc. Can't go wrong with Glenn Hughes. I'm so glad to see more of his stuff uploaded. He's always been one of my favorites - all the way back to Trapeze.
