Fit right into the afternoon theme for me!!

A fantastic reminder of this band's amazing live dynamic with Ritchie and Ronnie at the helm.

Metallica started their own record label (Blackend Records) and bought back all of their past catalog from the various record companies that owned the original rights and tapes.
Since this happened they have been going back and re-mastering the early albums. So far they have done Kill and Ride and think Master is not far behind.
Is is a money ploy or is it because the albums need rework? I think Kill sounds fine; very raw like a debut should. I always thought Ride sounded fine too, a bit more polished, nor perfect, but still good, so not sure that needed work, but would be interesting to compare. Master, to me is perfect. Besides the tunes are amazing, the production quality has always sounded great.
Justice, we all know this one. Insanely amazing album, one of the best ever technical thrash albums ever recorded. but the production is trash. Lars fault, producer, the conspiracy theories abound but it would be awesome to have that album sound like it should, with clean bass lines and slightly "brighter" tones in the leads, etc. I can only hope this happens.
From there, well, we know St Anger, besides being very different in style for them, needs major work, like turning the snare drum back on (theories here are Bob Rock heard Lars tuning up the snare and liked what it sounds like with the snare lever off and talked Lars into using it that way....theory again, but).
Of course the new album will be on their new label which is cool because they have final say on the entire product from cover, to sound quality, to price. The double album is suggested to be at $13.99, which is lower than most single albums.

Helloween - I Want Out (4:40)

From: Keeper Of The Seven Keys, Part 2

I used to really like this song. I have the album on vinyl, and a special edition picture disc of the song as well. But after hearing it ad nauseum - pretty much daily for over a month - I can truly say I am completely sick of it.

SAM needs a good ole fashioned cache whoopin' :woohoo:

Be glad the site doesn't have Skynyrd's "Freebird"

Sammy the Song Selector still making Helloween the HR80's house band, but thank the metal gods he is digging a bit deeper in the catalog!
> Accept - Princess of the Dawn (Live)

Echoing the sentiments expressed above, a once revered classic now has a tangible cringe factor.

Admin needs to render a good a Fall cleaning!

Probably being the biggest Helloween fan here, I agree 100%; between I want Out and the title track, I can't even spin this cd right now, it's like having top 40 radio endless repeat rotation on.

Come on Sammy, mix it up bitch!
