There's my Testament in que as not requested and no ded. I get in 2 maybe 3 tunes a day (+-) and Sam steals at least one a day. We'll average it out to 3 a day, 5 days a week = 15 tunes, so Sammy the Song Selector grabs about 33.3% of my deds.
That's unacceptable error and lack of quality control in any industry.

Actually only Chris can fix these things... and in many cases it???s out of his hands when SAM???s attention wanders... maybe SAM has CADD... computer attention deficit disorder.

Does anyone recall where this tune played in the movie? I have the DVD anniversary version and used to have the tape version and don't recall it ever being in the movie. I think the movie opened with The Go-Go's "We Got the Beat" and closed with Oingo Boino "Goodbye,Goodbye" and many other tunes throughout (one being from Balto band the Ravyns).
But can't seem to figure out where this Sammy tune came in.

This was BOC's biggest hit and it still gets air-play on rock radio today. Although sometimes overplayed by most stations that all seem to have very short play lists, I still like to hear this one.
It takes me back to junior high and my brother would be hauling me around in his '72 Pinto sedan with the 8-track player (yes 8-track!) blasting spinning this album constantly.
My brother (and his wife) are in town from FL for a few days so will be great to see him as we always pull out the tunes and spin them. I'll have to make sure I pull this cd out and spin it to see his face light up like mine does when it plays B)

Can't be certain and I may be confusing Fast Times with Heavy Metal but I thought I read in Sammy's book that he wrote the song for the movie and the production company decided not to use it....

I read "Red" also and now that you mention it I think that is correct. It may have ended up as the second tune on the closing credits on the DVD anniv re-release. Will have to spin it again to find out.
