I had a close call today. I guess you got hammered with more snow than we did today. We just got a coating which made the roads a sheet of ice. I was going down a small hill and just lost it. Ended up spinning sideways across the lane. A car was behind me, hit their brakes, and of course started to slide. I'm sitting there looking out the passenger window (because I'm sideways) just waiting for the impact, and the other dude somehow manages to slide right past me. We both looked at each other, smiled, shaked our heads, then drove away like snails!

Not sure it was luck or I was so smashed I just bounced around. Man that was quite a few years ago now and have not been out on a St. Pat's day or night since :blink:

We got about 4-5 inches down here and it has been in the 20's so freezing right up. I was fortunate today I was able to hunker down in the home office so did not have to go out there.

Glad you made it out of that spin mess ok, It gets scary when multiple cars are going everywhere. Crazy indeed :S. Be careful on the way home!

Same thing has happened to the owner of the SA Spurs three times. He must've called you for advice Slick. He never spent more than an hour in the drunk tank, never went to court and now he gets chauffeured everywhere he goes in an RV with a wet bar staffed with entertainment professionals...

Yeah, ol' Jim has certainly embarrassed a lot of us here in Indy, and we've asked the same question-why in the hell does he have to drive with the kind of money he has? Have someone in the Colts organization drive you to the parties, play with the high-dollar hookers in the back of the limo, and it's all good. I'd be glad to do it, just leave a couple of cheerleaders in the limo for me to pass the time while I wait for you to return. Gotta dash off an email offering my services. I just might get lucky, I once ran into "Goose" (the former center under Harbaugh) and ended up with me and my late wife going in his white stretch to Carmel to one hell of a party with a bunch of players and didn't get home 'till the next day. My boss was not amused. So maybe I'll get lucky again. :unsure:

I wish the new Jake RDC was in Sam to be requested. There's a load of stuff waiting to be loaded and we have to be patient as Chris, the site owner and coordinator, is a full time working guy just like the rest of us here (and he has a new baby added to the family!) so he does batch loads in-between all that stuff as well as keeping the site up and running.

Can't seem to rate this one, weird. I recall doing a "top 5 bass players" post a few year back and had Sheehan just off in honorable mention because, besides the first album, the Mr. Big releases always seemed to let me down. Since hearing him on this album, damn he sounds as good as ever, absolutely letting it shred, and I think he would move back into the top 5 :rockon:

Well you win, Dale! You beat me to the Leatherwolf request by probably milliseconds. I requested 5 tracks from Leatherwolf's new LIVE album....and so it's my AOTD ;)

I read somewhere that when Mike O. heard Leatherwolf's new album (with Wade Black), he was blown away by the writing and playing, so he wanted back in as singer. I guess he thought they didn't have anything good in the song dept when he made his exit. But he felt so inspired with that album, he was motivated to re-recorded it with his vox. I love the Wade Black version with it came out because I've always been a big Leatherwolf fan and I was hungry for something new from them. But I'm glad Mike sings his version too and it gives it that classic sound.

Too bad Geoff Gayer is not with them anymore. That's what the "Demon Alcohol" can do :(
