Son and his girlfriend are fine. Guy said he didn't see them (don't know how you can't see headlights at night) and pulled out, clipping the rear fender as my son went by, causing him to lose control and hit a guard rail. The entire passenger side was ripped up.

It was a 99 Dodge Stratus, but only had 55k on it because I basically just drive it to work. Figured I had at least another 5 years in it. Needless to say it is impossible to find a decent car with only 55k for $4000, so I'll have to fork over extra $$$.

As for my dog, that is not actually her in my avatar, although it is close resemblance. She was only 9 but had epilepsy since she was 2, and had arthritis. She wasn't eating so we took her to the vet and they found cancer on her spleen and liver. They said she only had another 2 weeks, maybe a month. She had suffered thru enough, so we decided to do it right away rather then bring her home. That would just have been selfish on our part.

She was a special dog and will be greatly missed. I'll see her again sometime, and she'll be able to catch frisbees again like she used to.

Damn Lab...Sorry to hear about that...We love our dogs like they are our kids...Actually...they are :) Too bad on the car...I hope you can find something fairly reasonable...

Anyway, it sounds like some of the crew had less than good endings in 2011, so I hope 2012 is MUCH better for you all...

Slick, I am surprised by the Wis boyz too. They came in ranked and it seemed they were going play some good ball. It's still early, but conf play starts and man, ya gotta be on during that to get that bid.
I think the Hoyas are surprising everyone in a good way. Came in not ranked and are now 10 and 1 with a nice knock off of the then undefeated Louisville last week. Pretty good for a bunch of Freshman and Sophomores! :horns:

Song Dedication
This appears to be a best of or maybe a live release. Let's find out. For those wondering about my last ded about New Years...these two brunettes that were hanging with us (friends of a friend) came over to my side of the bar when the wife and friend stepped away and one sat on the stool next to me and was kinda chair dancing while laying across her friends lap. In sync with the music she kicked up her leg with her heel right near my face and let's say I got the ultimate money shot right up her tight strapless party skirt...yeah she did not have anything on under there as all I saw was the prize and a nice shaved runway strip!! Needless to say when the wife got back I did not brag about the obvious flirt..LOL..Happy New Year!

He does indeed use a drill, the same as Paul Gilbert on "Addicted To The Rush" (at least I believe that's the tune). I think Paul did it first.

Leave it to Gilbert...I love his playing too. I wonder if VH disputes his claim. I've read that Eddie is incredibly secretive about his technology etc.

So the guitar body is sacrificed for this effect is that right? I wonder if different bit sizes create different sound?

Walt is absolutely right - on both facts. Paul Gilbert did use the drill first, and it it was on "Addicted To That Rush".
Sidebar: I was at the video shoot for "Addicted To That Rush", and watched Paul Gilbert do the drill thing at least a dozen times. If you ever happen to see the video, look for me in the audience, about eight rows back. It was shot at The Palace in Hollywood.
