When I got home I saw the email had been bounced back... sorry about that.
Thanks for the kind words... the situation has certainly made things difficult, but everything will work out. If there????????s anything you need, all you need to do is ask. It????????s the least I can do for the dude that keeps the best metal on the net coming down the line to the Day Crew.

DD posted not knowing who Phenomena was...
Phenomena - same (1985)
- Glenn sings lead vocals on eight or ten tracks depending on what release you get.
Phenomena II - Dream Runner (1987)
- Glenn sings lead vocals on three tracks.
Phenomena - Psychofantasy (2006)
- Glenn sings on some of the tracks
Phenomena is a rock concept around a supergroup formed by producers Tom Galley, Metalhammer magazine founder Wilfried Rimensberger and Tom's brother Mel Galley. Contributors were leading rock musicians such as Glenn Hughes, Brian May, Tony Martin and John Wetton among others. In a cover story, run by Kerrang! magazine in 1985, Phenomena's production of rock songs based on a story line running through a whole album, attached to artworks and other multi-media aspects was credited for the "return of the concept album" in the 80s. Phenomena released three albums in the 80s early 90s and had a number one hit single in South America and the UK with "Did It All For Love", while the album charted across Europe, in Japan and Brazil too. An accompanying music video was shot and produced by Rimensberger in conjunction with Spidercom Films at London Abbey Road Studios and represents a video trailer for the Phenomena - Dream Runner movie project. 2 further albums followed and compilation albums followed without the involvement of Rimensberger. The latest, Blind Faith released in September 2010. And Tom Galley and Wilfried Rimensberger have joined forces again to produce a new concept album that embraces the original multi-media concept of Dream Runner.

OH, now I think I remember hearing about this group back in the day, but (again) never heard anything from them. I thought the tune I picked sounded like Glenn on vox -- no wonder I liked it ;)
Thanks for info! I'll have to give it more of a listen!

I think I've heard the entire new Mr. Big album today. Seems like it played at least once an hour.

Also, the new TNT disc. I like what I have heard. Tony Mills is really sounding more & more like former (& most known) singer, Tony Harnell. Good stuff.

... and drummer Hirsh Gardner hooked up with Vinnie Vincent to form a short lived band called Warrior (not the "Fighting for the earth" Warrior). Vinnie then joined KISS.

IAIN ASHLEY HERSEY "Nomad" On Sale
"Nomad" features a allstar lineup including Doogie White (Yngwie Malmsteen), Jochen Mayer (CASANOVA, DEMON DRIVE, DOMAIN), Frank Kraus (DEMON DRIVE) Paul Logue (Edens Curse), Holger Seeger (Midnite Club) Born in New Hampshire and growing up in New England, Iain cut his teeth on the heavier British Blues Rock Bands such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Bad Company and guitar players like Beck, Blackmore and Hendrix. Later seeking to develop his musical vocabulary he studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston where he expanded his musical realm into that of jazz improvisation, eventually to return to the fold of Rock and Blues. Iain comments, "There was something about the pull of ones roots and missing the power that comes with simplicity. Relocating to Los Angeles, he spent a year as a student at Musician*s Institute in Hollywood. "More of an excuse to get settled into LA"..."I skipped all the main classes as I already knew all that stuff from Berklee and basically just hung out and played with Joe Diorio, Frank Gamballe and Scott Henderson." At the end of the year, he was invited on as an instructor which he did for the next six years.
