> Alice Cooper - I Am the Future

If that's the future I long for the past.

There should be a remove vote in the ratings bar. Once a song hits 5 removes then chris could take it out of SAM. King Jizz would bite the dust along with some material like that.
Brilliant! Me likey! Buh-bye, King Jizzpile!

It would also let us eliminate some of the lengthy band interviews we????????ve had to endure.

First of all, I do agree with this idea.

However, I think it should be at least 10 votes and with the note a "suggested" removal from the station. If there is a band someone really just does not like (for example, King Diamond for me), but I know other listeners really like them (like Ironskulls with this example ;) ), I could just "vote to remove" and others could do the same -- but that would not be fair. I know there would be some "haters" who would vote for something to be "removed" just to be jerky because they don't simply like it. In the mighty words of Ironskulls (hey, twice in one paragraph, cool huh?!?), "that's the beauty of metal, there is something for everyone!"

I guess the "removal" would be a "suggestion" to Chris, who would have the final say ultimately anyways.

...and I am done now. Believe it or not, I usually don't get on my soapbox and I really hate all that PC stuff, so I think you get what I mean ;)

FINALLY, King Jizzy Live should be at the top of the list!!! Just awful!!!

I agree Dave - more of an example and for sure there should be no power to the users to actually delete anything.

There is actually something in place now. The ratings. If there is a song that rates, say, below a 3 it gets tossed. No need for a "remove" button.

He apparently never thought of the Snuggy or the Slap Chop.
Scorpions - Wind of Change (5:13)
(By Request)

From:
Crazy World

The wind just changed from a gentle breeze to 60-70 MPH gusts. Were in a concrete building and it feels like its going to blow over
Dedicated by:
Slick

We had that here yesterday. I came home from work to find the patio umbrella from my balcony broken and in tatters, with parts of it on the driveway, the one on my deck in back had flown across the yard and the pool was full of so many leaves you could barely see the bottom.

Getting the same thing here in Minneapolis. I think Slick's winds were our last night, but we are getting some pretty heavy gusts right now, so Slick you can look forward to a whole lot-o-windy-fun coming your way. Oh yeah, you're welcome

I was thinking of going outside and opening up my dumbrella, with these winds I could fly up there and make it in time for happy hour! Of course I'd have to go buy a dumbrella first!
Annihilator - Refresh the Demon (5:26) (By Request)
From: Refresh the Demon

Well, Skulls is playing Halloween stuff, so let's spin this one!
Dedicated by:
Walt .:.

Great pick and nice block so far for the theme Walt! I got stuck on a conf call, so only got one in today, so this was perfect timing
Thank you, Sir! I wanted to get in on the fun, too!
Kissin Dynamite - Metal Nation (4:27) (By Request)
From: Addicted To Metal
Song Dedication: Great album, I think they could've given a bit more thought to the name of the band though.
From: Rocko

I have seen you mention this before, and I must say that I think it's a pretty f'n cool name. Good description of this kickin' band -- EXPLOSIVE, indeed!!!

Plus it's a name of an AC-DC tune from "Blow Up Your Video" (hmmmm, I wonder if they got their name from there.....probably, I'd guess so).

We need to get their first album uploaded too. It shows their "Scorpions" side more.

I dunno'. The music grabs me, but the name doesn't. Probably because there are so many local bands out here in their tweens with names like that.

Point taken...makes sense. After all, I'm out here in the upper mid-west, so names like that aren't so common, HA!!!
Vain - No Respect (4:41) (By Request)
From: No Respect

so Halloween is time to bring out the scary and for some Davy Vain is one of the scariest! I have the rest of the Vain albums and although his vocals dont change much the songs are better on the later albums.

Dedicated by:

You got that right Dale. I remember the time a neighbor's cat got caught in the garbage disposal...
"My name's Davy! Wanna hear me sing? MRRRRRRAAAAOOOOWWWWWWWWW!" (disposal winds down).
