Rated 9 - deduction of 1 for lack of soul. amazing technician, but as someone once said, there's hardly any feeling in his playing

Yes, I would have to agree. I have probably heard every tune off of that disc at least once in the last week.

There must be a parameter (or something) set with SAM that when an album is "recently" added, it can be tagged for HEAVY rotation. I think that happened to the new Accept, too. I heard songs from that all the time after it was added, but I could not request one.

Overall, I kind-of like that "heavy" rotation of recently added music. It is one way I get to hear different tracks from the same disc.

Who the hell is Shane Volk??? I see the name now and then but have no idea who he is (should I know?) I even punched him up in google and all I see is he covered a tune on this album.

Weird....

Wow, they must know someone in the industry, to be basically an unheard of band, yet the singer shows up on a VH tribute album :?
Go to www.artistdirect.com if you search Shane Volk you'll find everything he's done
Looks like he makes most of his living singing on tribute records.

I agree!!! Probably why Big Cock was soooo easy to listen to and seeing him Live this summer fronting Warrant makes me want them to hit the studio and see what comes out.

So I've seen Ratt in Arena's with SEP and clubs with Jizzy...I have to say...live...Jizzy pulls the songs off better. SEP is usually off key. So this one goes out to singing in key.

Oh, please, Dear God...PULL THIS PILE OF RHINO EXCREMENT OFF THE STATION! Playskool Recorders do not make good albums!

Amen Walt.

What I can????????t understand is why this was ever released. It doesn????????t take a production expert to tell this is just bad... from every aspect.

What's with the vocals? Terrible. Off-key and nasal. Like the music, though.

Wow, they must know someone in the industry, to be basically an unheard of band, yet the singer shows up on a VH tribute album :?That's because any crappy old label can release a tribute album to showcase the artists on their label. In this case Versailles Records wanted to do a tribute to VH and One Bad Son are on Versailles Records so they end up on the tribute.
Blind Guardian - Into the Storm (4:52)

Song Dedication
Wow, the tropical storm that hit us here in the east was a mess! Amazingly, our power only went out for about 1/2 hour last night. Bad thing was, my Ma's basement flooded (we had like almost 6 inches of rain in about 14 hours) so I gotta take a half day and go over and start drying out the house. It's clearing up now, the beer is still cold and we'll be down at the MD Ren Fest tomorrow flirting with the wenches, so all is good :>)

Yeah, we got 7" of rain in Raleigh. But Wilmington got 22" of rainand Carolina Beach gor 23" of rain! Glad I don't live there!
> Enuff Z'Nuff - Rock N World

Thought my phone was ringing. The beginning of this song is my ring tone.

Got home from work yesterday and the basement was dry even though it rained all day. Got up this morning and had about 3" of water in it. Must have gotten hammered last night, but I guess I didn't hear it because it was so muggy I turned the A/C on. But fear not, beer frig seems to be ok. Phew!
My rain gauge has recorded over 10 inches in the past 36 hours. My backyard looks like a lake. Suppose to lift out later today and be a nice weekend.

As for my cold beer... it all got drank last night treating my insomnia. Didn????????t really work.
