> There's a couple of a-holes that sit out in front of our building every morning - for what I don't know. Anyway, today they left all of their junk all over the lawn. Newspapers, drink cups. etc. My boss asked me to set the sprinkler to go off at 8:00 every morning. Great idea. I can't wait to watch on Monday morning.

> New Sam Adams Utopia beer is already banned in 13 states. WTF?

At $150 a bottle it should be banned in all 50 states!
From some website:

Beer is one of the oldest alcoholic beverage ever known, even the ancient Egyptians brewed beer. Beer is the most popular drink overall after water and tea.
Samuel Adam's Utopias ???????? world's most expensive beer which costs around $100 per bottle (24 oz) or about $65 per pint, sold in copper bottles resembling the copper brewing kettles, named after one of the founding fathers of the USA.
Samuel Adam's Utopias it is strongest beer in the world, the alcohol content is 25%. The process of making this beverage can take up to 12 years, giving it the unique and rich flavors.
The production of world's most expensive beer was limited to 8,000 bottles per year.

Hmm... a 12 year-old beer? No "Born-On' date? I'd still like to try it. But hell, I can't keep regular beer that long in a refrigerator...
Here's more:

> In 1993, Koch set a new bar by creating Triple Bock, a beverage with 17.5 percent alcohol by volume. In the early 2000s, Dogfish Head responded with beverages of their own that went to 22 percent.
>
> But the latest Utopias alcohol volume gives Koch and Boston Beer Co. the clear title of having the strongest beer, said Sam Calagione, president and founder of Dogfish Head. "I must bow before him for Utopias," Calagione said. "I don't think we'll be brewing a beer that strong for a while."
>
> Utopias has reached its unique strength through a 15-year aging process in barrels at the Boston Beer Co.'s brewery in Boston. It's aged and finished in wooden containers like Scotch whisky barrels and sherry casks. The drink's yeast strains are regularly used in making malts and champagne.
>
> A quick sip unveils a cognac-like hit combined with vanilla, honey, and maple flavors.
>
> The long production cycle is what limits its availability to once every two years. This holiday season, for example, Koch is only releasing 10,000 bottles with the suggested retail price of $150 apiece.
>
> "It's like making 21-year-old Scotch," Koch said. "Yeah, you can make more. You just can't have it for 21 years."

It's "banned" only because some states have limits on the amount of alcohol a beer can have. Some states have already repealed their law.
Sounds kinda yummy, though. Thanks, BL! I was curious as to exactly how they'd make a beer that would take that long.
I wouldn't mind trying a "sip" myself. That would be about $12.50, BTW.
