London - Rainbow Bar & Girls (3:53)
(By Request)
From:
Hollywood Rocks! (disc 3: Late '80s, 1988-1989)
Hmm... with a tune like that, it's no surprise they didn't make it. I do remember these guys though, and they did have some pretty good tunes. Don't think this is one of 'em, though.

The tunes they played in the Decline documentary from this band were pretty cool.
Agree, this tune kind blows :<(

I saw London on a bill with Vixen and Nitro in '86. Vixen rocked, both London and Nitro blew big time.

Motley Crue - Droppin' Like Flies (6:26)

Still think of this disc as a different band. Good stuff with Corabi as frontman, but IMO it didn't get a fair chance since everyone still wanted "classic Crue" with Vince.
From:
Diamond Dave"
Agree 100% Dave. I was actually spinning this disc on the big home stereo this past weekend and it totally kicks ass. It has a somewhat dark slow grind feel to most of the tunes. I think the thing that stands out is Nikki and Tommy just mesh on this one. The drumming is super solid and the bass lines follow along and just hammer big time. The production is killer too. Just thunders the whole house..hehehe.
A shame it did not get the respect it deserved. The comeback albums with Vince, besides that latest release which I like alot, were pretty bad in my opinion. This album blew them away...

Well said Skulls!!! I totally agree with you ....agreeing with me, LOL!!! At first, I had a tough time with the Corabi-fronted Crue since I wanted Vince-type music, but that's not what is was. NOW, I love it since I have looked at it from a different angle. Great "house-shaking" stuff with a killer bottom end.
As for Vince-Crue comeback albums, Generation Swine was horrible!!! They got better and better with New Tattoo and the add'l new tunes on the greatest hits packages. Saints of L.A. is a great CRUE disc!!!

Check it out for sure, Kiz. Again, don't think of it as a Crue disc, but rather a side project from Nikki, Tommy and Mick with a different singer. It stands alone on it's own. Different than your normal Crue, but I can appreciate what they were trying to accomplish.....now, that is.

I'll be the first to admit I was never really a Zepp or Page fan, so do not really know this album. But have heard this song a few times and it is really amazing.
