Yes Keir - I beleive it is because lyrics are being loaded, and the search includes them too. I have selected just song titles, but still get the everything search.
And it has been like that for a few months, like Walt said.

Whomever mentioned the site being slow - I think the requests may have a bug. I just received this error on my 3rd song:

> SQL error string=MySQL server has gone away
> SQL=SELECT songlist.*, songlist.ID as songID FROM samdb.requestlist, samdb.songlist WHERE (songlist.ID = requestlist.songID) AND (requestlist.ID = 303507) LIMIT 1
Then for my 4th - I just got a blank request window.
For my 5th, I got the following messaage:

Guess we wait!

The above was done using the Randon Artist Request button. I just tried to re-request one of the ones I missed, it told me Artist Recently Played. So I get my songs, just do not know what they are . . . .
I then tried to request a song by choosing artist, lp, and song, but got the 'Unable to connect to database' error again.

I????????ve been getting the SQL errors too. My pie block just played (for Pi Day which was on Saturday) but at least one of the dedications was missing, and one whole song (the best one too! Kix ???????? Piece of the Pie).

It would be - see the drop down box next to where you enter your word - it says Search All. Hopefully, eventually we will be able to use the other searches there - - Artist, Album, Song, Lyrics, By Album Year.
That would really rock!!

I frequent another, unrelated forum that uses phpBB forum software. Very recently we had the same sort of problems, with the same error messages. Upgrading to a more recent version (but not the newest version :? ) has seemed to solve the problems. Not sure what version we are using here.

Here too - it froze earlier just before the playing of my Cinderella song, but they showed up after it was over. I gather it has been doing it all night (USA night).
