I wonder if it is a server space issue. Maybe we do need to purge some of the "undesirable" or duplicate stuff in the library. I see, like the Helloween catalog, there is a quite a bit of things like singles that have the same songs that are on the albums. Cool to have the rare stuff from the singles, but not much sense to have a "Future World" single when it is on the Keepers 1 album, etc. I see this in other catalogs too like the Bon Jovi list for example and the Def Lep listings.

Dunno, just a thought....maybe we need to clean house a bit.

Skulls, I suggest a terrabyte drive! Now THAT's a lot of music! I think it's probably still overheating issues, but i could be wrong...

There we go, that would solve the space issue (if that is the problem). Load it up with some fans, think we'll be set!

Wonder if Admin can swap over. Maybe you can hook them up Walt!

Or another non-MS based OS like Linux or something like that, very stable.

I wouldn't throw stones Doc, I hate "Microshit" also, but stuck with it at work. I have some multiple OS's on my home computer and we have a MAC also, so cool with me!!

so we get some more new music added and crash the server? No fun at all. I was pretty much in bed all day yesterday...some kind of stomach flu got my daughter, my wife and me....funny to watch a 9 year old fend for him self...now I am ready to get back to my day and no tunes :(

Well, at least they've not been playing a lot of nu metal on knac.com. I heard Metallica, Megadeth, Sabbath, new Crue, new Whitesnake, Dokken, Skd Row... been okay so far. Some malark playing right now, but it's been not bad overall. I wish we'd get up and running shortly, though.

I am getting ready to watch the Daytona Cubs on-line. They ahve a day game at 10:30 am. Glad I amnot there - that place will be packed with about 4000 kids with little supervision.

Sorry guys. The server must have crashed right after I signed off last night. Our server is old and now is starting to overheat which is causing it to lock-up where I can't do anything to save it. The hosting company has been notified and should have it back online soon. Chris is also aware that we need to do something about the server and is in the process of getting a new server. Unfortunately it's not so simple as the station uses several programs to run and to migrate all the data and configuration takes time.
