So, t03y, you mean to tell us that people like Geddy Lee or Billy Sheehan or John Myung from Dream Theatre (I could go on) are LAZY??? Dude, I'm not sure what planet you come from, but perhaps you should pay closer attention to the music you listen to. I suppose Steve Harris from Maiden also falls into the "lazy son of a b****" category, even though he writes most everything for the band not to mention he is the anchor and one hell of a musician.

Dude, WTF????? As Walt noted..Geddy Lee (this guy writes, can play bass, play bass peddles, play keyboards and sing..all at the same time!), Steve Harris (what needs to be said..amazing player and writer), Tom Araya of Slayer (same deal as Steve and he sings), etc, etc..list goes one.
You seriously need to re-evaluate your view of people that play instruments, no matter what they play. It all takes time and skill, and yes some are better than others, but just because some of these guys are not out in the limelight all flashy with their glitzy 6 string does not mean they are lazy or any less talented.
Also, this is a music site and there is quite a few people on here that play (did you notice my avatar??), either just for fun, or as Rockhead does, for fun, but out there with an audience (and yes, he plays a mean 6 string also) and also some on here that play in bands full time.
Nuff said, offense taken by myself and quite a few users here..I have said my part...

Hutt, some info on 'em:
Fireclown were a New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) band from Manchester,England formed in 1979. The band consisted of Tony Dowler-lead guitar/vocals,Gyp Nicholson-guitar,Pete Dutton-bass and Graham Derbyshire-drums. In 1983 they added lead vocalist Paul Austin and released a 7" single "Invasion", with B-side songs "Poor Man" and "Magic", on their self-titled Fireclown Records. Ross Aspden was a regular member of the Road Crew; Driving the bus and rigging the lights on a nightly basis - he is now enjoying a successful career in finance. Tony Dowler now fronts the Tony Dowler Band and The Hellhounds.
It is also the name of a song by NWOBHM group Tygers of Pan Tang.

If it wasn't for the same Minnesota Vikings and the pathetic trade for Herschel Walker they made (giving the Cowboys draft picks upon draft picks that created the championship teams), you'd have to go all the way back to 1982.
