How to delete it

Sign in at hardrockin80s.com, open your account, and use Delete your account at the bottom of the page. You'll be asked for your password. Deletion is immediate.

Can't sign in? Email chrisv@hardrockin80s.com from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you.

What is deleted

Your email address, display name, username, password, points and membership status are permanently removed, along with every signed-in session and mobile app token. Any Backstage Pass subscription is cancelled. Who you followed and who you blocked is deleted. The account cannot be signed into or recovered.

What is kept, and why

Forum posts, comments and song ratings stay on the site, shown as “Deleted listener” rather than your name. Other members replied to those posts, and deleting them would remove halves of conversations that were never yours alone. They hold nothing that identifies you.
