SUNBOMB will release its debut album, "Evil And Divine", on May 14 via Frontiers Music Srl. The lyric video for the first single, "No Tomorrows", can be seen below.
Tracii Guns (L.A. GUNS) recently spoke to Talking Metal about SUNBOMB, his collaboration with STRYPER's Michael Sweet. Regarding how the project came about, Tracii said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "The greatest thing about Michael and I is that we have the same influences in music, we're great friends, and we have completely opposite ideologies — completely; on every level. And we laugh about it. We are two guys, when put together, we do discuss these things without any judgment. It's just, like, 'Hey, I respect your opinion. Cool.' Whether it's religion, politics — it doesn't matter; we get along.

My fave Ritchie project, that now has been around since 1997 (wow). People that do not follow RB on this venture are missing some gems indeed. Listen to the Strat kick in at the 2:43 mark...one of the cleanest and amazing sounding tones ever.

Today, March 19th, internationally renowned Renaissance folk rock band Blackmore’s Night release the official music video for their new single ‘Second Element’, taken from their new studio album “Nature’s Light”, released one week ago on March 12th, 2021.

"Say Goodbye" (and title track Standing on the Edge), the latest solo single from Robin McAuley, can be streamed below. The song is taken from Robin's upcoming solo album, "Standing On The Edge", which showcases the desire of the respected Irish rock singer to make a strong musical statement in a period that was more creative than ever for him. After reemerging on the recording side of the music industry with guest spots on MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST albums and fronting the hard rock supergroup BLACK SWAN, McAuley is feeling invigorated and ready to explore even more creative output, letting the world see that his voice is as powerful as ever. "Standing On The Edge" will arrive on May 7 va Frontiers Music Srl.

The Italian metalers Frozen Crown are back with a new album and the first track sounds killer! There were lineup changes, but they still sound like FC and kickin' major ass. Seems they like a hot (and obviously amazing playing) lady on secondary leads, cuz the new player is awesome to hear, and watch :woohoo:

'Far Beyond' is the first single from Frozen Crown's new album 'Winterbane', out on April 23th, 2021 on Scarlet Records.

As some of our fave bands have been lollygagging around during the pandemic, the power/epic/symphonic crews have been kicking major ass with new studio releases (see Frozen Crown, Epica, Sweet Oblivion, etc...)

Heart Healer, a project of Magnus Karlsson (Prinal Fear, Kiske/Somervile....long list) has dropped a real gem here. Here is one fo the tracks but explore for sure if you like this kind of symphonic goodies!

Frontiers Music Srl will release the fourth album from TIMO TOLKKI'S AVALON, "The Enigma Birth", on June 18. Again featuring a slew of talented guest vocalists, the album sees the Finnish guitar maestro's skills on display once again. Today, the second single from the album, "The Fire And The Sinner", featuring Jake E (ex-AMARANTHE, CYRHA) and Brittney Slayes (UNLEASH THE ARCHERS), has been released. Watch the video below.

I am obviously on a symphonic/epic/power kick lately as most of my tags here are from that genre B)

This one dropped quite a few years ago (2010...wow) , but just discovered it myself and it kicks ass! Female lead, heavy as hell guitars, worth checking out for sure! :hbang1:

KK's version of Priest? Well yeah, sort of. I look at it like when DLR left VH or Ace went solo after Kiss; we had new bands and they all were cool indeed. So I'll take this for what it is, and so far it kicks ass! :hbang1:

KK'S PRIEST, the new band featuring former JUDAS PRIEST members K.K. Downing (guitar) and Tim "Ripper" Owens (vocals), along with guitarist A.J. Mills (HOSTILE), bassist Tony Newton (VOODOO SIX) and drummer Sean Elg (DEATHRIDERS, CAGE), will release its debut album, "Sermons Of The Sinner", on August 20 via Explorer1 Music Group/EX1 Records. Original KK'S PRIEST drummer Les Binks (ex-JUDAS PRIEST), unfortunately, sustained a wrist injury, but will make special guest live appearances when the band tours.

My recent obsession with power/epic/symphonic metal continues (mainly because these are the bands that have stepped up while not being able to tour and are putting out some major, kick ass albums!)

This is a project from remaining members of Stormwitch. After a few of the band passed, the guys reworked some tunes and reformed with new members and are releasing new tunes! Here is one from the album that dropped in April 2021.

When Harald Spengler alias Lee Tarot, founder and mastermind of the southern German cult metal band Stormwitch, died much too early in 2013, his longtime musical companions, including Stefan Kauffmann and Peter Langer, decided to finish and publish the songs they had written together before his death. The debut album “Tarot’s Legacy”, released on Walpurgis Night 2015, drew the attention of hard and heavy fans at home and abroad
In 2017, Witchbound opened a new chapter with power shoutgirl Natalie Pereira Dos Santos and bassist Frank Bittermann.
After the tragic loss of lead guitarist Martin Winkler, Witchbound had to reform again in 2019. Despite all blows of fate, the witch ship takes full drive again with second lead singer Tobi Schwenk and string wizard Julian Steiner on board. The second album should be released in spring 2021 and presented live. Witchbound combines the proven musical roots of Stormwitch with fresh ideas and thus creates a varied sound that impresses with its high level of songwriting.
