Guilty pleasure pop metal from Ghost. A new single "Hunter's Moon" from the new Halloween movie. Pretty much in line with last few singles from them.

Nice, love me some Ghost! One of my fave bands (well, Tobias and lots of guest players) from the 2000's decades. Always catchy and intriguing! Only one album here as they seem to not "fit" per some users, but have to disagree, they have a more traditional sound than some of the other bands on here B)

I agree, I liked Ghost from the first time I heard Ritual in 2010. They are one of the few bands along with Iron Maiden and Epica (and Social Distortion different genre though) that get me super excited for new music. (RIP Rush!!!)

They are great live and their music is very catchy. I think they fit right in with the bands of the early 80s at that edge of Hard Rock and Traditional Metal. Great band!

I keep revisiting this band because I really want to like them. They have a cool mission: "bring heavy music back to the mainstream", which would be cool, but...
I did not really care for their first single "Hate" so was curious of where they would go here. This one, "Athena" is better, but I still find myself a bit bored (IMO again).
Anyway, check it out and post any comments B)

All-female rock band PLUSH will release its self-titled debut album on October 29 via Pavement Entertainment. The LP was produced by Johnny K (STAIND, 3 DOORS DOWN, DISTURBED) and features thirteen tracks of melodic in-your-face heavy rock.

AC/DC's music video for the song "Through The Mists Of Time" can be seen below. The clip is a rock and roll museum tour through an exhibition of the band's incredible history. Based on a concept by guitarist Angus Young, director Najeeb Tarazi and creative director Josh Cheuse used footage shot by Clemens Habicht of each of the five bandmembers in five separate shoots around the world. They then enlisted Mathematic, a Paris-based visual effects studio, to combine all the elements so the band could take the stage together to perform the fan favorite from "Power Up", almost one year to the day that the highly anticipated album was announced.

New song from KK's Priest "Return of the Sentinel."

The Sentinel was one of my favorites from Defenders of the Faith. I don't think this does it justice.

New song and video by German hard rockers THE HANDSOME DOGS,
"DEVILIZED". (Music/Lyrics: Potens/Portner/Lunova)

starring:

Porty Portner: Lead Vocals
Pete Potens: Lead/Rhythm Guitars, Vocals
Lars Lunova: Drums, Vocals
Jacky Jung: Bass
Even though it looks like a gruesome horror story when listening to the lyrics its intention is "to try to think positively and to stay away from the dark side".

Agree, not as good as the original JP tune, but I think this is the cut I have liked the most from the KK band.

The more I hear from this release, the more I like it. This tune kicks total ass!
It appears we are seeing a really strong wave of melodic rock/metal; younger folks seem to be finding it and getting onboard, which is awesome! :hbang1:

This is (imo) the best release so far from the reunited crew of Phil and Tracii, just good songs around so far. I'm so glad bands are figuring out how to survive and flourish with out radio support. New stuff every day from all kinds of bands..awesome.

Long-running hard rockers L.A. GUNS will release their new studio album, "Checkered Past", on November 12 via Frontiers Music Srl. The official music video for the LP's third single, "Get Along", can be seen below.

SCORPIONS have released their new single, "Peacemaker". The track is taken from the band's 19th studio album, "Rock Believer", which will be issued on February 25, 2022 (postponed from the previously announced February 11). The accompanying music video will follow tomorrow.

Singer Klaus Meine commented: "The first thing that came to my mind was the hook line 'Peacemaker, peacemaker / Bury the undertaker.' I was just playing around with those words. At a time when so many people have died and are still dying of COVID, from devastating wars and other senseless crimes, it makes you feel that the undertaker must be working overtime. In a peaceful world after the pandemic, it will be time for the peacemaker to rule... that's an image that really appeals to me."
