In the wake of WHITESNAKE's massive global success, the band's founder and lead singer, David Coverdale, set out to record his third solo album in 1995. However, the plan was derailed when pressure from his record label forced him to change course and release "Restless Heart" under the DAVID COVERDALE & WHITESNAKE moniker. Despite the changes, the 1997 album was a Top 40 hit in the U.K. Surprisingly, the record was never released in the U.S. That will change this fall when Rhino introduces several versions of "Restless Heart", including a four-disc boxed set.
"Feel The Heat" is the first single of the new Scarleth "Vortex" album released on 15th of November 2019 via Rockshots Records.
Here is the live video to "Set The World On Fire" taken from Japan's metal band LOVEBITES' brand-new live Blu-ray/DVD 'HEAVY METAL NEVER DIES - LIVE IN TOKYO 2021' recorded on Ride For Vengeance Tour 2021 at the TOKYO DOME CITY HALL, on March 26, 2021.
DragonForce Troopers of the Stars from the album Extreme Power Metal is inspired by the movie Starship Troopers. This official music video was filmed in Los Angeles California, before the pandemic with director Roboshobo.
Speaking on the band's new release, guitarist Tosin Abasi shares: "'Monomyth' is part fever dream, part ritual. Its imagery represents man's ceaseless attempts to translate transcendent ideas into movement. The conflation of struggle with meaning. Pain with significance. The ultimate failure of distilling perceived patterns in the world into knowledge."

Quick thoughts. Nothing that grabs you by balls. I like classical music a lot, so my initial take is Variations on the Themes of The Book of Souls and The Final Frontier. Think songs cut in the same cloth as Book of Souls and When the Wild Wind Blows. Hopefully like classical music, when I sit down at the stereo and fully engage, it will become alive. But when listening on headphones this morning while working, there was nothing that caused me to pause and say holy shit this is amazing.
