It was inspired by Diamond Dave, not for the song's content, but because he requested a song from this album earlier today and it reminded me how great the album is.

Absolutely! I didn't have the site up - sound only going - when it came on, and had to interrupt what I was doing to see who it was.

I had never heard that song and didn't know it was a cover. I really liked it as I do most of Pell's stuff.

Heaven's Gate by UFO is on right now. It was released in the Schenker-less mid '80s. It features "Atomic" Tommy McClendon on guitar, who would later go on to join Soul Motor with Brian Wheat.

I hate to correct you but that's 1983 Playmate of the Year, Marianne Gravatte. Also in Lay It Down video.

Tawny Kitaen appeared on Ratt's self-titled EP (yes, THE LEGS) and Out of the Cellar.

And yes, Kitaen Got Claws.
