I have read articles over the years that the reason this band did not hit huge in the US was do to poor label support and PR. I bought this vinyl because I heard another tune (besides the cover tune that got the MtV vid) and when I played it I was floored. What an absolute, well produced, catchy, well sung and played set of tunes. The fact that it was not huge and is basically a hidden/lost 80''s gem is a fuckin crime.
I try to turn people onto this album whenever I can and the reason it is here is because I transferred my vinyl to cd and MP3 and uploaded. (prog 10 years ago now) the second upload was a later addition.
Oh, and the Knockin cover song (title track) is a 1000 times better than the GnR version with out fail.

why is he screaming?

It seems we are getting at east (1) 30 minute plus of Hughes per day lately. Whatever his longest song is on the cd, SAM finds it and plays it. Damn love/hate with this station any more.

Thank you Sammy!! One of my all time fave songs; ever. The (live) harmonies of Kahn and the background singers and keyboard fills is masterful to say the least.
Made my day popping the headphones back on after the lunch walk and this was starting to play.

This is a Paramore tune, but that was in 2014, so not sure what the original was of this one. Anyone know?
