This obscure four-piece consisted of Peter Whiskard on bass, Derek Storey on vocals, Kenneth McKie on drums and Ron Anderson (R.I.P. 2011) on guitar. They released two tracks on Neat Records compilations: "Could Have Done Better" on the One Take No Dubs EP, and "Absolute Zero" on the All Hell Let Loose and 60 Minute Plus compilations. Sadly the label did not give them the opportunity to release their own single or album, because their energetic yet melodic brand of NWOBHM showed a lot of promise. Distrainers temporarily used the name Alien between 1980 and 1981, however these two bands should not be confused with each other.
