Recording was the greatest times though and i really should have pursued that as a career, being an engineer or whatnot. I have a good ear for what sounds good and what does not, as far as mixing a song goes and would have enjoyed that as a career. I hear some of todays music and think...i cant hear a high hat, the kick drum is not as compressed as it could be, the bass is not as foward as it should be and so on. The 80's music, that i still love and is about all i will listen to....btw...thanks to Hardricking80s.com for giving that genre of music a voice....and the 80's rock and metal is really what i relate to. Not so much the lyrics, but the music itself. I would imagine that is the same for most of the listeners here. |

I was born in San Deigo in 1964 as a Navy Brat. Ended up in North Carolina, which i currently live in now, when i was 8. Grew up doing the usual things....football, baseball but not basketball for the simple fact that I'm white and i have zero game. Graduated from High School in 1982 and was a total 80's guy. Played in a few bands...i
was the drummer...did some recording and actually had
two songs played on our local college radio station
a few times.
