jaguar/this time lp
jaguar/power games lp

Nice list there hellspawn

Never heard of Jaguar - what do you know about them?
What r they like??
Jaguar was a NWOBHM band. Power Games is the classic album, but they tried to be more commercial with This Time and it was a flop. I actually think they are rather overrated but they do have a few great songs.

Most of my buying right now is for others for b-days and Xmas. I got AC/DC Black Ice for the wife. I need to spin that one in the car to get a real feel for it.

But I did bump across a band on Death.FM called Swashbuckle..and American based "pirate metal" band. Unlike Running Wild, which I like cuz I dig power metal, this is sort of like pirate music, meets screamo meets in your face death metal. It's a mix of some traditional pirate shanties and kick your face in, we're taking your ship over, brutal stuff. And the guys play it up with the costumes and all. Fun stuff indeed!

If you do not like a bit of yelling, you may not like this, but for those that dig some of this (Dale and Walt?) here is some goodies!

Here is a link to an aniimated vid they did for a game:

 Just checked that link out Skulls very good if i may say that one may have been better seein a live video instead of the animated one but still good

Yesterday I got the Midnight Lady 7" from Dave Feinstein. It's a great single from 1978 that features Feinstein and Carl Canedy from The Rods and Joey DeMaio from Manowar. No picture this time, but there's really nothing to see since it never came with a picture sleeve.

I always love adding a new country to the collection! Until yesterday I didn't have any music from Korea, now I have 4 LPs:

Asiana - Out on the Street
Baekdoosan - Too Fast! Too Loud! Too Heavy!
V/A - Friday Afternoon
V/A - Power Together

I took a picture, but I can't seem to get it off my camera onto my computer.

Took advantage of Curcuit City's misfortune, and got Poison's "Live Bootleg", Deep Purple's "Fireball", and Cheap Trick's remastered "Heaven Tonight" for three bucks apiece.

Really sorry to see Curcuit City going out. This economy sucks big time (I know first hand).

I picked up the David Hasselhoff Christmas CD, it was on sale after the holidays. Michael Schenker plays on a few of the tracks.

I downloaded from iTunes the soundtrack to Napoleon Dynamite. Some funny stuff on there.

I think my next album purchased (download) will be Iommi/Hughes - Fused.

I love that Great White disc....I am surprised that they are not more popular on this site....not very well respected or played....but I do love them....

I just got (3) new discs...(new to me)

Warmachine- The Beginning of the End Its simply a must have disc IMO

Crooked X- Self Titled All 14 year old kids with new disc out...sounds pretty cool....but I figured I would support the lads...

Evergrey- In Search of the Truth Trying to expand on my musical tastes...still giving it play time....but sounds worth having so far...

Got Johnny Crash's "Unfinished Business" from my wife for V-Day!!! it was recorded in the early 90's, but was sitting unreleased on some record company's shelf collecting dust. It was FINALLY released last year and it's a kickin' "gutter" rock disc. Sounds alot like their debut release as well as Junkyard and AC-DC ala "Flick Of The Switch" era. Check it out!!!
